"Non-Immigrant Visa"

There are many catecories of the Non Immigrant Visa, the main ones are :

- "Business visa" (catégorie B) :

This type of visa is for foreigners employed, or running accredited businesses, in Thailand. Foreigners who wish to work/conduct business or undertake investment activities in Thailand must apply for a non-immigrant visa at the Royal Thai Embassies or Consulates abroad. Various categories of non-immigrant visa are currently provided to meet the need and qualification of individual business people. These include Non-Immigrant B (Business) Visa, Non-Immigrant B-A (Business approved) Visa and Non-Immigrant IB (Investment and Business) Visa.

- "Dependent visa" (catégorie O) :

Non-Immigrant “O” Visa are issued to dependents of non-immigrant visa holders working for government associated agencies and non-profit or public organisations including retired persons or persons who originally held Thai citizenship, medical treatment and sports training according to government demands, or as witnesses or defendants in lawsuits.

- "Long-term business visa" (catégorie B-A) :

This type of visa may be applied for at the Embassies or Consulates abroad but approval shall be given by the Office of the Immigration Bureau in Bangkok before visa is issued to the qualified applicant. The company in which the applicant will invest or do business with can also apply for this type of visa at the Immigration Bureau. The validity of stay for B-A type visa is valid for a period of one year counting from the date of arrival in the Kingdom.
